Laurie Pfeiffer joined UC Santa Barbara in 2022 after nearly 25 years working in Cultural Resource Management in Santa Barbara County and other areas of California. Emphasizing responsible site management and preservation alongside local Native monitors in the field, Laurie brings a keen understanding of the concerns and sensitivities associated with creating an efficient and respectful repatriation process.
