Coastal Band of the Chumash Nation
Cristina Gonzales is an enrolled member of the Coastal Band Chumash Nation. She is also the Cultural Registrar for Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi Yokut Tribe, a lecturer in American Indian Studies at CSU, Fresno and is on the Board of Directors for the California Indian Basketweavers Association. She has her B.A. in History from CSU, Fresno and her M.A. in Museum Studies from John F. Kennedy University where she completed her internship under the Repatriation Coordinator at California State Parks and her thesis on Cal-NAGPRA many years ago
